Time to Get Ready For Summer Boating!

With summer only days away, it’s time to get ready to get your boat back out on the water! Here are some tips and tricks to help get you ready:

Get A Boat – whether you’re storing with us, looking to trade-in your old boat and upgrade, or becoming a first time boater, we’ve got you covered!

Seasonal Boat Maintenance - make sure all the bells and whistles are working and that your boat is summer ready! Our service teams are also prepared to make sure everything is working properly.

  1. Get an oil change

  2. Check your bilge pump

  3. Check the engine

  4. Make sure all of the electrical works correctly

  5. Check the fluids 

  6. Check the battery

  7. De-Winterize

  8. Make sure there are no weeds or foliage underneath

Always make sure to have a tool kit on board! 


Safety – make sure your boat has all the necessary safety equipment to keep you and your family safe out on the water

  1. Lifejackets - 1 per passenger on the boat, make sure they are the right size!

  2. Dock Lines and Buoys (4 each)

  3. Fire Extinguisher

  4. Throwable floatation devices

  5. Working horn or airhorn

  6. Spot light, flashlight, flares for night boating

  7. First aid kit

  8. A paddle or two

  9. Tow rope
