New Service Facility in Long Lake, Minnesota
Wayzata, Minn. – River Valley Marine’s President, John Wooden, announced the acquisition of a boat repair, maintenance and storage facility in Long Lake, located at 505 Tamarack Ave, Long Lake, MN.
The company will now have (3) locations serving the Lake Minnetonka community. The new facility will be conveniently located just 3 miles from the company’s existing sales store and marina located at 1444 Shoreline Drive, Wayzata, MN on Lake Minnetonka. The new addition creates the ability to expand the service department, parts department and storage capabilities. The fully equipped service center will also enable the company to offer a higher level of service, maintenance and fully stocked parts to customers rather than just mobile service. Additionally, it will allow more display area accessible to the sales center located between Tanager Lake and Brown’s Bay on Lake Minnetonka.
River Valley intends on expanding its service capacities with the addition of two new experienced Master Technicians, new marine Service and Parts Managers, Parts Associate and Service Writer. This only adds to the Minnetonka service team already in place for a total of (9) full time dedicated employees. Furthermore, River Valley intends on retaining the “family first atmosphere” and a high level of service to customers and plans to continue to invest heavily in all their facilities over the coming years.
The previous acquisition of the former Crow’s Nest location (HWY 12W in Maple Plain) will now become the area’s Large Boat (wide body and over 28’) service facility in addition to another resource for expediting Fall and Spring services for the Minnetonka location clients.
For 2021 Model year River Valley added Chris-Craft to our brand offering which will create the need for expansion of our Lake Minnetonka based service facilities. We are very thankful & excited for the opportunities that the Chris Craft Brand & the large quantity of existing owners in the area.
